Changing Lives, One Gift at a Time
Together, we make it easy for you to support causes that matter and see your kindness in action. So donate Today, we thank you for your support.
Why Donate to the Farragut Lions Club
When you give to the Farragut Lions, your gift stays right here in our community. We provide eyeglasses and vision exams for those in need, screen children's eyesight to catch problems early, support local food pantries and families, and take on projects that make our neighbors' lives better. Every dollar helps us serve, and every donor helps build a stronger, healthier community. Where there's a need, there's a Lion.

The role of a board of directors
The role and functions of the board of directors revolve around guiding the organization, protecting its long-term interests, and ensuring that leadership acts responsibly and in alignment with strategic goals.
In nonprofit organizations, nonprofit board members uphold the same core duties while also ensuring mission alignment, representing community interests, and stewarding donated resources responsibly.
In general, when considering what a primary role of the board of directors is, stewardship is central, with directors safeguarding the organization’s assets, mission, and reputation.
